The Priceless First Look
First look pictures are one of our favorite parts to capture during weddings. It gives the bride and groom a chance to truly take each other in before the wedding and think “wow I’m about to marry this person, the love of my life.” The candid moment of when the groom first sees his bride is a very touching one indeed. We love capturing the priceless look on the groom’s face as he sees his bride for the first time. You can physically see the love in a moment like that. We agree with Katherine Heigl from 27 Dresses when she says it’s her favorite part of a wedding to watch the groom as the bride comes down the aisle because his face says it all. To watch the groom’s face while he sees his soon to be wife all dolled up and so in love is a great experience.
In a photographers perspective, first looks also give us a chance to work with the wedding party as a whole and take portraits while the day is still early. This also gives the bride and groom, as well as their wedding guests, a chance to head to the reception right after the ceremony and get to celebrating!
