Newlyweds get the first piece!

Cake cutting symbolizes the first task that a husband and wife do together. Feeding it to one another shows the promise that they vowed to provide for one another in marriage.

 

It’s such a fun part of the wedding reception. Some couple’s are laid back and feed each other in a kind manner while others are more silly and the cake feeding becomes a little messy but a whole lot of fun! The cake cutting is a fun tradition and makes for some great pictures of the newlyweds that we absolutely adore.
